printed the test
i printed the test and it seems to go rlly good. so yeah ima start desining the mouse and stuff. for the ir sensor what ive decided to do is take an old mouse, and unsolder everything except the rotational decoder and the ir sensor and the led that comes with it and then cut it out like thr will be a rectangled area for the ir sensor and the led and other part is the encoder. and so ima drill the hole bigger for the ir and then ima pass male jumpers through it. so yeah this is the vid:

so i made this worm + helix gear setup.
so this setup is the primary thing of the adaptive trigger. so like the motor will have the worm gear here. and thrs another gear on top of the helix gear, im printing it rn. so like i also printed an enclosure for testing.

idea
so my idea is that i will make an adaptive trigger like thing but for mouse. so adaptive trigger is like when ur gun is jammed, u cant fully press down the trigger, like it will stop, and also it may like require more effort into pressing it, may also have vibrations and all. this project im working on it for a hackathon on 13 feb, idk if im gonna be done with it here. so ill have to 3d print the shell, and stuff. so the ps5 controller uses a motor with a helix gear.

and like its connected to another helix gear in another rotation with a less toothed smaller gear on top.

the shaft of these is connected to a potentiometer.

and like when the trigger is pressed it makes another moving part idk how to describe it moves down. this one-

connected to the same axle as the trigger. and yeah this moving part isnt directly connected to the trigger, it also has teeth inside it that like rotate the smaller gear.
