Nice work assembling this project! You should share this in #blueprint too!

Soldered all the Parts to the PCB (Twice ;( )
So I received the PCB and parts a few weeks ago, but didn't get to soldering it until today. It was easy enough, but I had some really weird setups so that the parts aligned properly. I really need to invest in a helping hands setup from the blueprint shop. For example, I used the foam pieces and extra solder tips and scissors to hold up the pcb so I could solder the parts so it looked straight from the front.

After I soldered all the parts (soldering DIP parts is so fun :star_struck:), I decided to plug in my battery pack. However, my amazing big brain decided to plug in the GND and power to the opposite pins, blowing up the 1uF capacitor and frying all the parts on the PCB. RIP the orange leds.
I had to remove the capacitor, and I replaced the capacitor with the spare part. However, it still didn't work, so I had to remove the capacitor again :heavysob:. I had to use the smallest soldering iron tip for this. I then soldered all the parts to the new pcb, much faster this time. I also wrote GND next to the GND pin so I never forget which side goes where again, as at this point I am out of spare parts.
AMAZINGLY HOWEVER!!!, my Blinky chaser works now!. It looks so amazing, and I am grateful to blueprint for providing this opportunity.

I also soldered the male end of male-female wires to my battery pack to make it easier to plug in, as the male pins on my battery don't fit in the female headers properly.

I am completed with this project now, and it also got me hooked on PCBs!
