So i made a bigger drawing, just to see and lock down the design placements of things :

So the components now are (for the top half) :

• a big screen (around 10 by 13 cm) compatible with a stylus
• a 7 segment screen for the time (that i already have and need to work out)
• a circular screen for gps
• 4 on / off switchs for :
  • turning the deck on and off
  • the gps
  • wifi and bluetooth
  • cellular data these last might need revision but u know (cos i don't)
• a smaller screen for the mp3 player
• 3 buttons for the mp3 player
• 2 usb type b holes
• a usb type c hole
• 2 3.5 mm aux plug holes, one for in, the other for out
• an sd card hole
• an ethernet hole
• a rotary encoder for sound (with button for mute)
• and an antenna

Now the bottom half :

• the actual keyboard, yet to be made
• another usb type c hole
• another 3.5 mm aux plug holes for in
• an nfc plate (cos why not)
• an E-ink display
• the trackpad, with two buttons for left/right and middle click, with a "scroll surface" from @ashtf on youtube but an old laptop of mne has it soooo...
• a cavity for the stylus

Now for the internals, i think an orange pi is a good option for what i have cos i think android would be something good, even though linus is the best, soooooo...

The start

The Protagonist

My main goals, for the time being, is starting with something capable of and that has :

• offline navigation (more like a mini-map / compass thing than Google Maps),
• cellular acces to the internet,
• calls,
• bluetooth (?),
• stylus only screen (I don't want finger my finger touching it) or a small keyboard, with a trackballl and a capacitive scoll "surface",
• seperate mp3 player, like stuck on the side of it with duct tape,
• radio (transmitter, receiver, and/or SDR ?) with an antenna
• bunch of different things on different screens instead of one ( the nav on a circular compass screen, the mp3 on another screen)

thats what I want for now.

Also :

im going to steal from the Anicept Tempus by Anicetus (https://blueprint.hackclub.com/users/73)

• step tracking a real Time Clock,
• a buzzer for new quests,
• a microphone for call

i should note that that empty space i left next to the ball, keyboard, stylus, ... is for the speaker holes, or i can put another small screen for software.

as for hardware i can maybe have that starter keyboard project as my keyboard

for the mp3 player, having it's storage linked to the main computers would be cool.

I am thinking about incorporating an ai assistant in it, one that is tweaked of course.
and a camera to see the world, not high quality, but if its good enough for a smartphones, its good enough for me.
