Got ready to submit

I just made a github repo and added the step file and then worked on writing a little readme for the project, just something short but so its there and visible.

PS: some of the time spent is kinda off just because i made this project on my schools computers and then just took screenshots and exported to my laptop to post later

Added some extra stuff for design!!

I went and filleted some of the sharper corners just for a nicer look:

Then I added my initials on the top just for the funsies:

I was gonna add some more text on the side but realized it might make it hard to print and ill probably print these on my schools printers which are badly tuned ender 3 v2s

but i added some line designs on the top and learned how to use the mirror tool cuz i wanted it to be symmetrical

Made basic design!!

I'm just using the dimensions off apple for the sizing of the phone and then giving some space at the bottom for a charger cutout so i can keep my phone charging on the stand. I'm not very good at CAD/haven't done it much and my only experience on it is just viewing documents for FTC since I'm on the programming subteam and for my hackpad I recently made.

First, I made a sketch to match the phone dimensions so I could have a reference objectScreenshot 2025-12-02 at 3.34.26 PM

Then, I made a little base with a lip on the front to prevent the phone from falling forward and a cutout in the middle. Heres a picture of the sketch:

And then the extruded version (4 extrudes one new for the main two sides, one add for the lip and one cut for the base charger cutout, and one cut for the charger portion for the phone):

And then i added another sketch from the side with a angle upward angle, but i dont want it too have too much of an angle since id probably use this whenever im on facetime so it still needs to face mostly forward

and finally extruded that and positioned the phone modelScreenshot 2025-12-02 at 3.47.05 PM
on it

but i realized that the charger cut out on the bottom might be a little too small or too far front so i cut a little more just in case:
