Necklace

I want a 3D model of the necklace I’m going to make in jewelry, just something that shows what it’ll look like before I actually build it. and also shows me the shapes ill have to cut out.

finished design and tried to print it

i finished up the 3d design and tried to print it out with normal settings 0.2 mm but it was to precise of a thing that it needs to be 0.10-0.15 mm to get the level of detail. so that was pretty annoying but i reprinted it with finer detail. and it looks pretty good. i have jewlery tomorrow so i hope im able to make most of the real one made.IMG_9732IMG_9723IMG_9731IMG_9727IMG_9729IMG_9730

modeled the necklace one as a full an the three sections

it was easy to make the main oval? idk what shape that would be called. it got a lot harder when i was trying to make all of the curved mountains they were hard to get all of them to be the right shape had to edit them a lot more than i thought i would have to. also the reason for the hole on the top is to easily center the bezel with the stone.

started to think about how to design this in fusion 360

this necklace will be in tiers/overlays the part with the sun (a set stone) on the bottom and then layers going up like that. each layer will be around 1-2 mm thick. making it in total just with the layers not including the stone about 3-6 mm thick. it should also be like 30 X 15 mm with the two ends rounded. so those are my dimensions taken care of. here is a very basic size estimated picture.

Started to think about what it should look like Size & Shape

i found a shirt that i thought had a cool design that would work well for a necklace. i like the mountains and the sun but not really the wave so in some of the brainstorming size and actual shape i removed it.
