conveyter
a 3d printer which will be able to print infinitely, as the thing its being printed on is a conveyor. https://a360.co/4o4Z37P

ordered all the parts
so i ordered all the parts, from robocraze, novo3d, robu, etc. as im writing this, some parts such as motor and extruder alr came. so all the parts will come by jan 10 or more. some parts where wayy expensive/not available, so i got those from aliexpress uae, which will take more time to come.

done
finally done with double shear, and all of the changes needed. im using 604-2RS bearings for the double shear. also updated the toolhead and the fanduct.

hello! I dmed u a good example for ducts :) also, in the discord and in my original review, I mentioned that you should use a different nozzle. curently, I dont think itll have enough clearence :)

redid the duct
i redid the duct, kept the output side to 14x6 mm. also switched the toolhead rail to be on other side. removed the 5mm linear shaft too. also working on the double shear for xy motors.

alotta stuff
hi! i updated alotta stuff.
- first i remade every 3d printed part so that close to no supports be used.

and more
then i redid the fan duct (i neeed to redo it again cuz its not right rn)

i also added pulley tensioning systems here

will also add there nozzles:

NEED TO DO
- need to add double shear to xy motors.
- need to redo fan duct

Your printer concept is really exciting and has a lot of potential! As Iโve mentioned previously, there are a few important adjustments that would make it work more reliably. You should stabilize the gantry for better performance and update the CAD so the nozzle can properly reach the bed. A longer nozzle will help, and flipping the hotend so the larger part of the block faces the opposite direction would improve the design. It would also be beneficial to adjust the ducts so theyโre more even and flat. You might find this video helpful for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YijwkQCOBEA. Iโm also curious about why youโre using both a linear rod and a linear rail. Once youโve made these refinements, Iโd suggest sharing your progress in communities like this Discord group: https://discord.gg/TFDV6vks, since theyโre very supportive and knowledgeable about 3D printing.

fixed some stuff
so my submission got rejected because of the following-
- non stabilized gantry
- nozzle not touching bed
- duct
so heres how i solved (i think it will work)-
gantry
so i thickened the walls to 6mm, and i added extension type thing on both the parts:

nozzle not touching bed-
i just adjusted the heatbed location and also remade the belt.

3.duct
i updated it in my last guide.

updated duct
i couldnt find any long nozzles here, so i had to use normal ones. i updated the fan duct. all models are available in my github repo. flipped the hotend block too

Hello! Your overall printer is really cool, however: u should Stabilize ur gantry better u should fix cad so the nozzle can touch the bed. I would recommend a longer nozzle :D I would also recommend u flip the hotend, so the bigger part of the block faces the other way. Can you fix yoru ducts to make it even and more "flat?" I recommend looking at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YijwkQCOBEA :D Why do you have a linear rod and a linear rail? when ur done, I recommend posting it in smth like https://discord.gg/TFDV6vks since they are really good and helpful at 3dp stuff

done with the cad
HI! im finally done with the cad. next steps are to make the BOM and readme. they should be done pretty fast. anyways heres the printer. to mount the fan mount to the toolhead i will be using heatinserts 3x5mm.

toolhead
so i finished a prototype of the toolhead. here is is with most bottom location:

edit: im done with the printer. i just need to edit repo and edit all the 3d printed parts to refine them. and ill add the conveyor of z axis thr.

toolhead
sup. i started with toolhead stuff. so like i will be using e3d with the fan. for support, there will be linear rail(mgn12c) on top and linear shaft(5mmthick). this screenshot demonstrates this config.

i will fit a lm5uu in the 3d print.

the belts will be tied with a zip tie and a 3d printed clip.

i wanna use a 5015 fan but im very confused, i have no idea where to put the fan.

maybe ill try mounting to the side. smtn like this

cad
hi! i couldnt post for some time cuz im working on my other 3d printer (almst done, i forgot to order heatbed thermistor). anyways, im done with like 80% of this printer i think. im done with belt routing and all.

also designed some 3d printer parts

also belted this

i just have the toolhead left..

pulley system.
i started making some of the 3d printed parts.

very basic design

here i designed the xy system, the xy gantry thing, the xy motor mounts and the pulley bracket thing.

3d modelling
hello! here i have understood more about the printer by actually making the 3d model. here is what it looks like for now.

we will have 2 3d printed cylinders, 300mm long (maybe 1 or 2 mm more) with a 7.9mm hole in the centre. so we wil fit a linear rod through that hole. we will put the 60t pulley in that rod. also at the end of those, we will have kfl08 bearings.

the blue thing is the heatbed, which is 300x300mm. i also need to modify the toolhead.

after making the conveyor i will start designing the 3d printed parts. for now im done with these stands

research
researched about belt:

so smtn like this. cylinder should be 3d printed. and it uses gt2 belt and motor has 12t pulley, and the cylinder has a pulley with 60t, effectively giving us a 5:1 gear reduction between the motor and the conveyor roller. and if we have to join belts, this tutorial is excellent.

started with the design
Hi! so i started with researching about the printer. so what im gonna do is follow a corexy xy thing from my other printers. and for the conveyor, the heatbed im gonna be using will be 235x235. so the conveyor will move by 2 cylindrical thingeys, one of them controlled by a nema17hs4401. im gonna make the frame using 2020 alu extrusion. anyways, the headbed will be placed a bit higher than the conveyor cylinders.
i need to research about the conveyor belt material and stuff, and also about the firmware.

decided idea
Idea: Infinity conveyor printer
I wanna make my own 3D printer that can print forever, kinda like the Creality CR-30.
I also want it to have an AMS so it can switch between colors or materials automatically.
