I modelled z axis linear slider

So for the z axis i modelled the linear slider. I found the slider part's 3d model online, but the rail i didnt, so i modelled it. It was a bit difficult, because of measuring the tiny dimensions, but i did it, so no problem.

The design 'till now

So i beginn the creation of this CNC, laser cutter two years ago. Since then i made 3d model for it and made that in real life. But i'm no where to finish it. I still have to finish the structure, electronics, firmware and callibrating. It will be a long process.

The structure is 80x80 item 80x80 item extrusions on an old robot arm table which i got from a company who didnt need it.

The CNC's volume is around 1.1m x 0.9m x 0.3m. The laser cutters is 0.5m x 0.9m.

The motors are has 3 stepper motors which i have to expand with one for sure, maybe more. Two for x axis and one for the y. I will have to get one for the z also. The steppers are driving ball screws, but they are not assembled in right now so they wont have any problems till then.

With the designing i probably spent 3 hours average per version. It's on the 38th version now so thats 114 hours with designing since beginning. With the hardware assembly spent i probably 30 hours.

P.S.
The design file is getting so big that my computer started to strugle with the whole design.
