your bom is not like organized properly. really hard to analyze because theres white spaces everywhere and empty rows also put the links at the last column. also check if aliexpress would have cheaper components

Semi Finished CAD
Following the guide from the original video, I have made a rough cad that is accurate enough to the real thing. The angled metal part in the cad is to stop the knife from retracting on the inital pull, and then on a second pull the string will bring it back down into place.

Slow work on CAD and BOM
Alright so using the guide mentioned in the previous journal I have began making my BOM and CAD using premade files off of Mcmaster-Carr. 
It's going pretty slow so far, as school is stomping me lol.
