Rhombic Dodecahedron
I haven't really 3d printed much stuff at all so it would be cool I also haven't designed a 3d print other than for school so I really wanna make something like myself.

uploaded skp and stl and printed the hollow version
printed hollow version and i uploaded skp and stl
you might want to edit the scale lol for your own printings
i might print one where the small one is inside the hollow that would be so cool

ok i ACTUALLY printed things
after my big print failed i was like ok i should just make a smal lone and i did the radius about 6 or 7 mm and it printed fine then i made a bigger one and printed that and it turned out fine
but now i think i want to make it keychain like and like properly stick together
like interlock somehow
also it looks kinda trippy from some angles

also i thought of another idea for thing to make like basically i was playing with my collection of high grade forks and tryna make a thing so wait watch this
this was drawn with mouse dont judge
then you rotate it
and stack them
its hard to draw but i made one with forks wait ill like do a thing

I did some maths and made a model in sketchup
I don't want it to be too small but it's also my first print for a very long time so im making it 15 mm edges for my first design.
anyways i did maths and research

theta = arctan(1/sqrt(2)) = arcsin(1/sqrt(3) = 35.2643897 degrees or 0.615479709 radians
the other thing for the angles of each face is arccos(1/3) so around 70.5287794 degrees and 109.4712206 degrees
diagonals of faces: 2*sqrt(2) and 2
face sides are all sqrt(3)
