Im creating a 3d printed rc car completely from scratch. I've already created one version which I uploaded on my youtube channel (youtube.com/@hydranceyt) but now im working on an improved one. New features: 4wd advanced steering 60km/h (previously 30km/h) better suspension TPU parts improved mechanical design in terms of strength Better tires

Mechnaum Wheeled RC car

I set out this project with not much idea where I was going but I knew I wanted to experiment with mechanum wheels and a robotic arm. I wanted this to be controlled by and ESP32 as I have not yet had a change to play with one of these and want to experiment further with the remote control and this seems like a wonderful chance to have these be like this. This set out the overall plan for the project which was for me to end with an RC car which has a small, light robotic arm and 4 mechanum wheels for funky movement.

RC Car

I want to make a custom programmable car, that is fast and will move front and back very accuratly. It will be run on 8 1.5V AA Batteries, and be run by an Arduino. It would have a 3D printed frame out of PETG CF. It would have rotary encoders to track distance,

4-bar parallel robotic arm (to be mounted on rc car + computer vision)

I'm going to 3D print and set up/assemble the robotic arm (which I spent a few weeks earlier designing CAD myself) with motors and controller (raspberry or arduino). #*# The first milestone is to get arm/claw moving and picking up objects. #*# Then the goal is to have a simple computer vision and mount everything it onto a kit RC car for movement. #*# The inverse kinematics is intriguing and challenging but still doable which is why I chose this type of arm. One ESP is used as a transmitter (controller) and sends control data. The second ESP is used as a receiver on the car and controls the motors and steering. ESP-NOW is used for fast and reliable wireless communication without Wi-Fi pairing. You can also use a 3D Printed case which I am using. I have decided to make this project as I have been fascinated by Ai and I felt this is the easiest way to enter this Ai Bubble I will also be using the components not only for the camera but later maybe as a surveillance camera??, This attached to a rc car or drone with an arm and make a Ai on wheels or in this case on propellers.
