10/26/2025 - Introduction, parts, and designs

Hello!

I am making custom drone project for school presentation "night of researchers".
It's going to be pretty minimal (without camera), but it would be good for starter project.

I need yet to make custom PCB for electronics (will do it in Altium Designer).
Chassis is made in Fusion 360 (along with other parts like battery holder, see video).

Choosed parts:

• 8520 coreless motors
• nRF24L01P + PN + LNA
• RP2040
• BMP390 (Bosch barometer)
• BMI088
• IRFR9024N (for driving motors)
• SR506 (protection)

I am waiting parts from China (Aliexpress) to arrive, so we'll see how that goes for now.
