Smart Chess
A chess board with dynamic lighting that indicates playable moves by default and optional best moves for beginners. Utilising my 3d printer for the board and casing, hopefully only needing to buy battery, pcb and magnets.

Started routing the PCB and learning
Taking notes from "Open Chess" to see how they've wired their PCB, im trying to learn my own ways and of course ive had to learn how PCB's work, how magnetic sensors and leds work in pairs, plus id like to add my own light that you can only see when wearing a certain glasses or such... learning the entire of Kicad has proven to be extremely difficult and i still need to know how i can get dimensions from it but i think i have an okay prototype currently.
I'm hoping something like this works
