Hey! Great work on this project, I love the overall design of it! Can you add your source CAD files to the repo please since they currently aren't there. Once you do that we can take another look and review again!

Hey, it looks like the total price of everything in your cart screenshots is 17 pounds, but you're requesting 40 USD? Please fix/make clear!

Made the Schematic and Repo
I started by making the schematic.
I made it in paint as im using compontents that wont be in kicad or and symbols premade.
All the pictures inside the paint are directly from my aliexpress cart(execpt the rocker switch, I already own that).

Afterwards I made the the github page https://github.com/anadskman/Soldering-Fume-Extractor and the readme.
Lastly I create the BOM in google sheets and then uploaded that and also made it into a table in the readme.

Finished CAD
I finished making the case.
I started by adding supports to the arms which are connected to the base.

Then I created the base, I also added a chamfer to the front edge and placed the speed knob and on off switch on it.
Then I decided to add text in the middle to fill space.

Worked on the Case
I worked on the case for the extractor, I started by making some quick models of the filters and the Fan, then I changed the front panel design by making the honeycomb part smaller to mainly just cover the airflow area.

afterwards, I made the back panel which is also the sides of the whole case.
Lastly I thought of how I want to attach the case to the base, and at first I was thinking and arm it can rotate on but I Realised it would just tilt down on its own. So I went with just two arms on the side with a joint to rotate on.

Unfortunately this is very similar to https://blueprint.hackclub.com/projects/2891 but ive tried my best to make it unique

Started Project
I started by planning what i wanted to make, then i found the filters and fan on aliexpress for size measurements.

then I started by making the front panel, this part took about 30ish mins.
I added a honeycomb pattern for cost and design.
