Penguin Pen Holder

Hello! I designed this pen holder to one of my teacher, as around next May I will graduate from my school so I don't think that I would be able to see her again.. She have a special place in my live. She likes penguin. I wanted to design a penguin pen holder for her. In this project I 3D design a Pen Holder using Fusion360.

Hi guyss
So.. after some of reconsideration again and after talking with my friend in singapore that print my macropad case initially, they said that it would be hard to ship the model while maintaining the case. Because to make a lamp the penguin have to be like.. transliscent right.. and it will have to be like really thin.. and shipping can cause it to dent.

So.. I am changing my mind and I wanted to make this as a pen holder.. So my pan here is still separate the case to two parts the top and bottom.. I still wanted the bottom to be like removable so that she can clean the bottom part.. and I think it would help the printing part.

Then I add a hole to the top part, add the body thickness, trim the top part and bring the colorss!!

Hey! Few things. The electronics and assembly are a little confusing to me! I also think this requires more journaling. Please include how to assemble this in the readme with a wiring diagram. Additionally, out of curiosity, why is the readme model white :pf: the colored version looked so cool!!! Also, how much are prices with printing legion? Also, can you include source files? reallly really polished cad tho!!!

3D Design Bottom Part

Hello! Back again, now I have finished my bottom part case. It does have a simple design. However I think the hardest part when building it, is to make sure that the top part can connect with the bottom part.

So, to correctly place the holes for the boltz, I took the masurement of distance from the center of the circle.

I think it is the best way to do it.

Then you just have to place the boltz in accordance of x and y distance that you have measured initially

3D Design Top Part

So, as I wanna save up some space, I separate this design into two parts, the top and bootom one, and I wanted to connect them later by heat insert.

I design the penguin in Fusion360, and I use mainly the T-spline modelling method.
This is actually my fist time designing using that feature.
I recommend you to learn from this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACiXuFoy0bk
It is really comprehensive and can give you basic ideas on how to use the tools there.

I think the hardest part is adjusting to the tools.. Yea ofc in learning something we can encounter some errors that unexpected, and perhaps it is not explained in the platform that we learn. In my case, it is when I wanted to redo the penguin wings thickness by applying -thickness. Rather than I reduce it, I add it until the layer is like multiplied around 4 times.. and whn I inspect it, I became really confused. At the end I delete the thicked part and like redoing the thickness..

Yea, there will always be something to learn from events that we encounter.
So, here is my top part final design

Project Ideas

Hello in this project I wanted to make a penguin lamp.
So, there is one teacher that I really love, and she love penguin...
I usually chrochetted her something related to penguin in special occasion such as birthday and teacher day. Unfortunately, perhaps, I wouldn't met her again later this year.. because I will graduated from my shs this may.. So, I wanted to make her a special last gift, and I chose creating a penguin lamp..
