weapon asembly
I've taken some simple components from the weapon assembly that inspired this design. (https://www.printables.com/model/897022-force-knight-1lb-plastic-antweight-combat-robot)
and constructed a frame to hold them onto the chassis.

a bit of an explanation, I chose to use the weapon system from this robot because I've seen it working verry effectively in my league. (it was also the design that destroyed my past robot.)

so far...
so far I've just put in some basic components: motors, wheels, and weapon.
I've made some basic framing out of extrusion to see if everything fits and it looks like it does.

next I'm going to start with the weapon mount and get the structural parts down.

a backstory
alright, i'll just explain why I'm doing this.
in the past, I used a wedge control bot, but...
it was kindah boring. I decided that I wanted to take a try at making a more exciting 'bot with a weapon on it. This lead to Smash mk3 (don't question why they are all named smash) which was a horizontal spinner, and was completely destroyed. So now I need a new robot for next competition. I've already got most the stuff, but I'll just need a bit of work to design it. So without further ado...
yeah, I'll just put that in the next journal
