So guys, this is the idea of the project i'd prepare this schematic yesterday but server was down, so lets keep it aside and understand what this project does,
first of all it is an esp32 based biometric attendance system which contains UPS, Fingerprint sensor, oled display , RTC, a single 18650 cell
the esp will host a website so admin can connect to the wifi and download CSVs, reports etc
and then use that in other software to know about attendance of the students etc
each students fingerprint will be associated with their roll no. , serial no. , name , fingerprint, date of entry, and then days they have attended.
i think this much is enough to explain this system's functionality.
now lets look at the power system:
here i have prepared a simulation of the power system in tinekercad which u can see here:

when both the power supply (i.e the adaptor and the li-on) will be there:

the mosfet would cut the connection between the booster and the esp32, so that the adaptordirectly would power the esp32 at that moment , as u can see in this photo above
and when one power suppply is off(lets say the line went off , and adaptor shut down) so, now :

now, the li-on along with tp4056 and booster will power the system until line come back again,
that voltage drop is due to power loss of the diode, will have to find a solution for that by either increasing the input or using another diode
so yhh this was about the power sytem, you can check yourself btw i'd created this power system on feb 8 but forgot to journal it, so m sorry for that
