Added direction and better description
I added a better description in GitHub explanation everything and where is goes. I described how everything is supposed to be mounted and assembled!!!

Hi! What's your plan to assemble this? I can't tell how you're going to attach everything. Can you make sure you write about it in your README or somewhere else? Your project needs to be shipped, which means that anyone can look at your repository, tell what it is, how to build it themselves, and how to use it.

Polished, Rendered, Github finished
I started for polishing the design and making sure the measurements are good. I played around with the rendering and got some really cool ones.

I lastly went to aliexpress and finalized everything and tried to find cheaper lights and magnets, which I did find.
I made everything in github, readme.md, file and pictures.

added more features, and found items
I started by adding a connector with tolerances to connect the base and main body. 
I added a hanger hole at the top 
I them found 4mm wide neo magnets for a strong connection at the top

I then found an rgb strip powered by a battery to put in the top 
I then made a spot for the connector after researching the battery side and reverse engineering the the dimensions. 


I lastly combined all the bodies and sliced the model to find any issues.

Created the main parts for the project
I started on a lantern the is used in many cultural events. I started from bottom to top, first with the base. After that I had to play around with the degree of the extrude to 1. make sure its printable, and 2. make sure it looks proportional and fits well with the base. I then moved onto the main body that it an octagon shape, with each side being a different body. Im making this whole design in seperate bodies so It can be scalable and assembled at any size. I had to find a way to make it only a shell, because the shell tool make three walls for the three sides. while i only needed one side walled. So I did that in the actual sketch. For the top cover I tried using the sweep tool to create a cool shape, but that didn't end up working at all. I eventually used the loft tool to get it to work and ended up with what I have rn. I lastly made the main body a bit taller.
