Great work on this keyboard! I've had to reduce the hours slightly since its pretty difficult to verify how much time you spent debugging but regardless - approved!

DONE!
I finally killed the ghost in the machine. I redesigned, reprinted, and rebuilt the entire case for the third time with more spacing for the acrylic backplate, AND FINALLY. it works yipee!

PROBLEM.
This was the most annoying part of this project by far. When I finally assembled everything, one of the rows would only occasionally work. So I spent the next DAY trying to debug it, and nothing I did worked. I did eventually figure out that the issue somehow was being caused by the internal usb cable being pressed up against the teensy for some reason, so the case needs a redesign.

Software!
After soldering the hardware together I thought the software would be really difficult to do, however, the actual writing of the qmk config was not that bad, neither was adding via support.

Great work on this keyboard! I love the lighting that you have and the transparent keys that you're using. Before this can be approved, can you split your final journal entries into multiple smaller ones showing what you did in that hour. There should only be max 4-5 hours per entry, and a 25 hour long entry is too much. Once you do this submit it again and we can take a look!

Hardware done... for now
This took way too long, Over the last MONTH + i slowly had been revising the plate to get it to a state where everything finally fit. After that ordeal, i started soldering all the switches.. AGAIN. Then soldered all the diodes.

slight progress on the plate etc
I have been working on this on and off as parts have been arriving. I laser cut out 2 plates. one didnt work. The other one, got all the switches soldered in, but then it didnt work. So i had to desolder all of the switches and here i am.

Spray painted the case and more
Over the past week I have been slowly working on the keyboard. To start I printed out the case and then painted it.
Then I went and rip cut a piece of acrylic on the laser at my makerspace where I ran into a guy who has a uv printer at his job. So he offered to uv print the design on the back of the acrylic which i immediately accepted.

Today some parts have started to arrive so im looking forward to starting more on the technical side.

Last reviewer asked for "Please add a full 3d render with keys", I do not see this. Please do this

Manually placed every keycap and switch
Over the last few weeks, I have been slowly making progress manually placing all the switches and keycaps, and I am finally done! This was a very inconvenient process but it looks good so who cares

fixed drc errors and a schematic error
Today i fixed the schematic error with a missing column, I also aligned the keys in the schematic on a grid. (i hope this is all of the errors i missed)

Hey there, please get your BOM below $100, and also fix your schematic! Currently K21 and the other keys are not connected to a column, this is because your schematic is pretty messy and it's hard to see stuff, so it needs to be cleaned up and double checked! You also have many DRC errors on your PCB that NEED to be fixed, to make sure it actually works! If you need help, send a message in #blueprint!

I updated the bom and edited the pcb

This past few days I updated the bom because for some reason one of my cables cost 10 dollars, and I was told the schematic was unreadable (it was) so I started to use net labels.

Nice project :D Could you please add a screenshot of your final PCB to the journal and find slightly cheaper keys too? You'll also want to clean up your schematic, please use net labels, it's impossible to tell if it's wired correctly, and it's a simple thing to do!

This project does not have enough complexity for a tier two project. As seen in the Blueprint Docs, a full sized keyboard is tier three. Frankly the only thing I see distinguishing you from a full sized keyboard is the RGB back, which doesn't add much complexity to your project. Please optimize your BOM, or increase hardware complexity to qualify for the requested tier.

added the mount points to the case and made the docs

Today I made the docs, the bom, finalized the case and also finalized the pcb. This is the hardest part of the project to keep motivation through but atleast im done!

rerouted everything, and started on the case and renders
I realized all of the switches were flipped, so i had to flip all of them and reroute the entire pcb. After that I designed a case in fusion and exported it to blender and made some renders.

Routed the pcb and added design
Today I routed all the traces of the pcb, cut out the edges, figured out how to do the firmware with qmk and or via, and added the silkscreen image to the front.

Started designing the pcb
I decided the layout of the keyboard using Keyboard Layout editor its going to be a 75% (the best %). and started making the schematic and laying out the pcb.
