So I made this a gift for john cohn :D

I bought the link off amazon, and shipped it to guildehouse

At guidehouse I cut off the rest of the plastic, attached it to the build, tested it, and it worked well!

John Cohn really enjoyed it :D unfortunately, since I gave it away (also gave my clear sheets to a team making smth holographically) I cannot get more media.

I added files and stuff!

I added my BOM, README, and CAD files. I slightly fileted my phone to make it more accurate. My BOM was scrapped of real parts I had, so the only real cost was about a dollar of filament lol.

Created and Finished my CAD

40 minutes in, made a basic mockup of what I want. My concern here is the center of balace; my phone is heavy and I cant just design smth similar to glasses like that, exp if I want to wear it over them. I decided to do a hat kind-of thing where it can screw into a top hat or smth lol

For what I want to do, the boater or Panama seem pretty good; they are both flat. Boaters seem to be made of firmer materials, though idrk fs.

I polished up the cad to make it more printable and clean, here is the final result:

I was looking for some OLED, but I realized I can just use my phone lol.

For something like clear22 plastic, this is what I found:
