HAT work - Pi to board connect 2x3 gpio
Designing the HAT board for the Pis
Today i'll focus on the connector/general thinking :sob:
We'll need a 2x3 GPIO connector at minimum.
5v5v,gnd

I'll probably use some random connector symbol like Conn02x03 idk lols
PinHeader2x03P2.54mm_Vertical or smt
fyi these parts arent accurate im just using this as a notespace
skulk i did it so wrong in the pcb editor the pins were messed up
Conn02x03Counter_Clockwise is better

The hard part is then the second connector....

Started the project! PSU selection, overview
I'm designing a power system/cluster system of 8x pi 3bs.
Research.
Alright, It is surprisingly hard to find a suitable PSU for this project.
I easily spent several hours looking for a good one.
Let me phrase the requirements of the PSU.
Each raspberry pi 3b can consume say, up to 5V @2A
Say we have 8 pi 3bs. That is... 5V @16A
They don't make very many PSUs specced like that.
In fact, there are very few PSUs which can directly provide 5v at high amperage
Long story short I spent a while and I managed to find a 5v @18A PSU
WAs kinda hard to find.
Will need to get a proper cable for it from wall voltage and maybe a 3d printed safety container bc power scary

I like this PSU though i should probably find the right cables and case for it.
IT is a LRS-100-5
Time to do some more digging
The pln is to have a main power distribution board and then smaller boards on the pis
elaboration laater
