Minimalist lamp
One of those pinteresty lamps to decorate my room with and learn better design. All the parts are cheapest on amazon, which I've never seen before

Hi, is there any way to decrease the price of your power cord it seems a little on the expensive side right now. Maybe try a different retailer for cheaper options.

The great CAD lockin
I submitted my other project, and their were a few messups when submitting this project instead of that one, sorry review team:). My computer is really bad, but onshape is terrible, so I use fusion online, and might be the only person that does. Fusion Online kind of sucks though, and I have lost all my progress more times than I like to admit. Like on tis project. All of my CAD files were lost, and I really wanted to give up.
But I didn't!. I spent the last hour and half re making it, and making it better. I learned how to use fasteners to create an accurate conection that fusion considers a real joint, and used sweeps for the first time. Anyways, got to keep locking in for Prototype. See you there!

The repo is practically empty, please update it to include all design files, a bom, etc; also what does the "11/22/2025 - Made a 360 render" have to do with the project.

Made the BOM
Because I started with the CAD first I now had to source my parts. I knew that I needed a standard light socket, and found the cheapest one on Amazon. The hard part was finding a cable, but I found a furniture grade one for only 12 dollars. For the hardware I will just buy the bolts and nuts from my local hardware store with my own money

Fleshed out the CAD
I did this project kind of backwards, where once I had the idea I built it in CAD before sourcing my parts and making my BOM. It might not have been the best to make all the ridges with lofts and patterns, but I got it done.
