I have finished! 🥳 (I think)
I have added the LIS3DH tilt sensor, which also has a temperature sensor. So that's my item for making my dev board special. That is also reflected in the bom.

BOM and ideas
I've decided I'll solder this myself as I yearn for tickets. There is a hotplate at my school and I will order that instead of pcba. this will also add to my Digikey cart so I don't have to pay for shipping and wait a month for my parts to arrive. I am also thinking of adding a tilt sensor but I have to study for CS so that'll have to wait. I can also cut cost because the neopixel led is the same one I used for the other project (VejasAuth). I also have to change the usb port as I cannot find a nice one on DigiKey.
So now I've added a BOM to my Github as bom.csv
I will be adding the LIS3DH as the special thing that @CAN is requesting. it seems easy enough to implement as I am almost halfway done with the schematic for it, and I feel like the hard part is going to be wiring it on the pcb.
Here is a picture of the Digikey BOM:

and here is just a picture of my regular BOM (missing the cost of pin headers and stencil):

Can you do something to make this unique from the tutorial?

Finished the pcb and jlc
So I finished routing the pcb. I added the neopixel (which I will have to buy and add separately, as PCBA for it would cost a fortune) and a reset button. Im planning to solder the neopixel at school as I think there may be a hotplate somewhere there.
The whole PCB is now finished and the project is done.

ReRouted the PCB
So my routing was a mess. I rerouted and now (not fully done) im feeling (and it's looking) much better. It looks much more like an octopus branching out its tentacles. Find images below.

My next steps are going to be to add a reset button and an rbg led. I might use this as a pico alt for keyboard builds in the future.

Made the schematic and added parts onto PCB.
I have decided to make a dev board even though I have no clue on what im doing. :sob:
I am following the guide, and I have added all the parts on my schematic and my PCB.
Here is what my PCB looks like right now:

I have no clue where to put the capacitors but ill try my best.
Here is what my schematic looks like:
