Custom Laptop Stand

I'd like to use my laptop while laying down but there isn't really anything that looks engineered enough to feel comfortable online. This project will include some sort of adjustable laptop stand with an integrated port hub and maybe a small lamp of sorts? I'd also like this to be portable.

Was in-fact not finished

took embarrassing long for me to figure out how to edit a footprint bc the one i got had a random edgecut in the middle of it? but i removed it and double checked if it would still work and i believe it does (i also moved one of the m3 holes)

PCB FINISHED I THINK

image
I finished the PCB. I wanted to add usb-c, but now that I think about it, I already have 2 of those on my laptop, and I usually find myself needing more USB 3.0 ports, so I put 4 of em on there. This USB hub design is based on one of the old HackClub tutorials for HackClub jams? I think. Next, I'm going to work on the actual stand itself in CAD

I THINK I GET IT

So, i finished the hack pad tutorial earlier today and thought i might as well start this project based off another hack club tutorial for a usb hub, the original thing i want to bring into this project is a usb-c receptacle i think. Maybe i can find a way to add more ports? idk but heres the progress i got done today (probably gonna work on the CAD aspect of the project after i finish the USB-HUB tmr)
