ah, github.
there wasn't a single whitespace where there should have been one and all of the formatting decided not to show up. SO...
I've fixed the whitespace and because that really is not important, I added an "assembly" section.

I made the final cad and 3d print, then added the threaded inserts for the screws. a few drops or hot glue were added to hold Down the PCB so it doesn't move. Now it works, I just have to find something to cad...

the tolerances were off, so I fixed them.
the lid was too small, the case was not big enough. Apparently I didn't add proper tolerances to the original cad.

sorry for not journaling sooner, but I've soldered the keys and the xiao. this took some anoying work but whatever.
I also began to code it. kmk keeps crashing out though. what I did to solve the problem was to get puTTY and fix the errors it printed.
kmk is working now, it was just a typo.
later I will update the repo and customize the keys.
strange note: the nepoixel footprint is funny so idk.

1/7/2026 - recieved, soldered, and started coding
sorry for not journaling sooner, but I've soldered the keys and the xiao. this took some anoying work but whatever.
