Created the case from scratch - part 2
After doing most of the things on the case in part 1, the only thing left to do was make a small hole for the hdmi, power, and some other cables to go through.
First i just took a box 30mmX12mmX5mm.

Made it hole and positioned it under the previous hole.

Grouped everything together.

Created the case from scratch - part 1
Well, one of my first 3D modeling projects, probably within the first 5 or 10, so it won't look good for sure, but functionality is what matters. I hope this has it. So I just started by placing a rectangle with the sizes 370mmx235mmx22mm and another rectangle but a bit smaller 364mmX229mmX19mm and making it hole and grouping it.

Then I placed another rectangle 352mmX218mmX2mm and made it hole and grouping it.

Then I placed a cylinder 7mmx5mm and placed it on the bottom edge. Then I centered it on the bottom edge and grouped it. This was difficult, not the doing of i,t but knowing what to do, I was so lost.

Exported the pcb to kiCad

I opened the schematic in kiCad as a pcb.

It was best to move the J1 above the SW1.

So I wired by just clicking on it, and it showed me the path I had to take, and did so for all components

A bit under an hour was spent on ChatGPT trying to gaslight me into thinking that the wires were not supposed to be visible, but it was wrong; they were supposed to be red.

Making the electrical schematic

I added the SW1 and the J1.

I tried a lot of different ways to connect it.

I finally landed on this design.

I highlighted it.

I used the Electrical Rules Checker.

I assigned footprints to the SW1 component and the J1 component.

Github partslist
I found the parts using ChatGPT, but it wasn't that great, so I went and found some on my own. Then I used a previous project on GitHub and copied the template and applied it but for a monitor. Still a long way from being done it is a work in progress.
