Arranged the left-hand PCB
I started designing and arranging the keys for the left-hand side of the PCB. I tried to follow a similar layout to the one shown in the tutorial, but I am unsure where to place each diode, as well as the Battery Sense resistors and BAT & GND test points.

Assigned Footprints
It took me quite a while to assign the footprints. I had to properly install the footprints as I hadn't correctly set them up. It took me a while to find all the footprints, but the one that I had the most difficulty with were the diodes.
The guide said to use footprint 1N5819, but I couldn't find it in the default libraries, nor the installed ones. I ended up using Diode_SMD:D_3220_8050MetricPad2.65x5.15mm_HandSolder for the diodes. (If you see this, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Started the schematic
Booted up KiCad to start the schematic. I followed the guide for the Split Keyboard and wired up the matrix, connected it to the XIAO, and built some test points for the battery. I also made a Battery Sense feature.
