Here is the thumbnail for the Blueprint project. Is this how I am meant to set it? Probably not. Overall, I learned a lot and will put this knowledge forward for my 100% keyboard I am working on.

Assembled the macropad

I had to melt some part of the top case off because I didn't know what a plate was when I designed the case... oops. The plastic melting may or may not have ruined a soldering iron tip and possibly my lungs.
I tried to use the heat-sink screw things, but for most of them they didn't align / work, or got some plastic stuck in the middle hole. whoops. I soldered the pcb to the switches, then put the case together. I flashed the firmware earlier, so then I went to test it and it works. The rotary encoder did swap between the layers and the keys worked. It was also detected in via. The case is a bit rough, but it is functional.

Soldered components

I soldered all of the components to the PCB (except the switches). I had to go over it a few times as it wasn't soldering too well, but I tested the rotary encoder on my phone and the volume control worked.
