I spent the first few hours maybe 3.5
hours trying to decide
what kind of drone I wanted to build, a micro quad, a 3.5 inch or a 5 inch, but in the end I chose the 5 inch, which is big enough to carry a GoPro but small enough not to take up much space.

I spent the next 4 hours over two days hunting for parts. It was a total pain in the ass because of the huge selection and the fact that I had to stay under a $200 budget. Of course, I had to watch some reviews to make sure I wasn't buying absolute junk, but that took maybe an 4 hour max

After those 5 hours, when I finally had everything ready, I found out on Slack that I had to do something self I didnt have the time to build a flight controller from scratch, so I decided to design the frame instead. I didnt have time to mess with footprints, especially since I was leaving for the holidays in two days, so I spent another 11 hours designing frame Seriously, it’s the last time when Im designing a frame aaaaa!

i start sherching parameters for that engine what i know becuse engine need to be fit good i dont wanna to engine feel out when we flying
when i have all i start with make all engine location idk what its name . this need be symetric for drone to dont shake

i make a conections with this engine idk to frame be more stable its go to 3d print . plastic is weaker then carbon fiber what we use in normal dron so we need make more structre what hold engine same at that moment i made i start making main frame remember all need be symeetric

i make new verion of this fram with triangle no honeycomb style and version of bottom with filled hole

after finishing the frame I made a tutorial on how to solder the flight controller and the Voltage Controler EAC. It took an hour, though it looks like I did it in 10 minutes. Then I spent one more hour making a second version of the frame for people who don't want the honeycomb style." and this take me next hour

1/25/2026 - i change my dron from FPV to ,,Cinematic'' and i make GPS

i change my drone concept. it dont have ultra strong engine to fly over 80mph so i change from fpv to cinematic like dji to this we need GPS. Sorry for dont pick cheap gps modem but i dont wanna lossing singal every 5 minuts.

in jlpcb i pick PCBA becus its small parts : 805 . and i with my solder iron im not be able to sold this
it cost around 17$ with coupon

and i need order that mcu from alexpres becuse they dont have it on jlpcb
