Awesome work with your board! Good luck using it for future projects!

Day 3: Prepare BOM
01/01/2026: 10:00pm - 11:50pm
Started working on generating a BOM and Readme for the Project
Interactive BOM looks like this

Full BOM and Cart looks like this

Day 3: New Year, New PCB
01/01/2026: 2:00pm - 6:40pm
Routing PCB, this was kinda tedious because of the length and compactness of the board.
Felt soo good after doing the PCB. Doing PCB is rewarding lol
Now i gotta make the Silkscreen better

Make the Silkscreen Better
Final Renders:

01/01/2026: 8:15pm - 9:15pm
Checked out how can i add a BMS solution for the Board, i thought i will add BQ24075 but its kinda big for the board and needs so much changes to the routing so am not going to do rn as am planning on a new devboard as my future project(planing to make a better devboard).
But i added LEDs for indicating power inputs, for VBUS and for 3v3 to show the power reaches the board, which is kinda unnecessary but a good measure to know if anythings wrong.

Day 2: Schematic Revision and Improvements
31/12/2025: 2:30pm - 3:00pm
Start working on the project again to improve schematics and read more about the RP2040 and how it works. And am expecting to start the PCB making today, am confused about the 2 layer vs 4 layer for the board, i think i will use 4 layer stack-up as its better for signal integrity and power management.
Schematics on start looks like

Now am searching about the Power management done in Raspberry Pi Pico board and referring the documentation to know how its done. Gotta learn about Schottky Diode and its Usage and the Buck boost? RT6150B-33GQW thing and what it does.

Start the Project, Start Reading and working on Schematics
30/12/2025: 8:18pm - 8:41pm
(All the time will be in IST (UTC +5.30) for the following journals)
I planned to make the RP2040 Devboard as i will probably get plenty of time to build new projects,
First of all i created a Github Repo and Link the Repo here.
I would probably spend a lot of time reading and understanding the project first as am planing to build another devboard with other micro controllers.

30/12/2025: 9:45pm - 10:30pm
Took a quick break, Started working on schematics as per the guide. Still reading and understanding stuff.
30/12/2025: 10:30pm - 10:50pm
Working on Basic stuff
Did the basic schematics and add labels to the RP2040 chip to make it better ig

Working on USB-C
As am familiar with USB-C Connecting and the needed footprints for the project it was fast to wire things up.

I also decided to do the BOM as we go as it's kinda time efficient ig
Spreadsheet Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mYJPmp9QpuGY8enw8jN34Ixkt0a4cLPQ-wnzre6tQUg/

I also found about ME6211C33M5G-N which is probably a better Voltage regulator that can handle more power (500mA) than MCP1700 which handles 250mA and its cheaper here, Only 8rs for the ME6211C33M5G-N and 39rs for MCP1700 in Robu, idk if i will hand solder it but i think its better to do PCBA with JLC and as i can probably use smaller components.
30/12/2025: 11:00pm - 1:40am
Took a 10min break and back into schematics making, reading the Docs and learned more about the crystal oscillators, flash memory and how to use a better structure for the GPIO pin outs,
learned a lot about these stuff
Final schematics on Day 1
which i will change as needed and am considering to adding the battery powering stuff which i will probably checkout next day
