LebanVolt v1
A commercially available a-phase PVDF film, 0.25 mm, is sandwiched between 2 sorts of printed TPU. The inner, thinner band of tpu, is made from 85A, with grooves along it, and a larger groove, accommodating the PVDF. The thicker, outer band of TPU is made of 90A. When the band is bent, and when it is acted upon, through the movement of the forearm and wrist the PVDF film compresses into a serpentine shape. Electrodes are on either end of the PVDF, and will generate charge when the PVDF is compressed. The tribo aspect is made from a soft TPU tube around the exterior of the piezoelectric portion, there are creases on the tube surface to remove any kinks. The capsule shaped weight that moves within the tube, is made from 3D printed abs. The electrodes collect displaced current, which is then rectified and then stored in a super capacitor
