Started the schematic
Today I started the project starting with the schematic, My main goals are to make a simple, effiecient easy to use address detector for the i2c protocol
My goal was also to give myself a challenge with this project as I don't just want to make a simple breakout PCB with just a xiao esp32 and 2 pins for data, I want to challenge myself by using a WROOM instead (its not much harder but it makes the project more complicated)
The first step I did was choose the board I'm going to go for, I whent with the ESP32-c3-wroom-02u because its fairly easy to use, I whent with the AP2112K-3.3 as far as power regulators concern as its fairly common and a bit more efficient than the ancient AMS series
For the i2c terminal busses I whent with having 4 in total, 1 is for the screen and the other 3 will be for the devices with 2 including 3v3 as power and the 4th being a 5v powered one
I also chose to expose a power row but I havn't added that to my schematic yet as I'm to seleepy and thats a job for tommorow!
I also havn't done any power circuitry in terms of the reset and boot circuit and thats a job for later!
I also really need to cleanup my schematic
