Created the BOM and rerouted the first PCB

I created the BOM which contains 12 components from Digikey with a total price of $12.88 however because they are shipping from the US shipping alone is $40.20,

I also had to reroute the entirety of the PCB as the first version would have cost me 29$, However after resizing and rerouting I was able to get the price down to about 4$

In total of both the PCBs including shipping the price is about $7.50
This gives me a final price of $47.50 hopefully making this a tier 3 project!

Finished Case

I finished the Case, both parts, The bottom part of the case is really similar even using the same heatset inserts however the top part now has a slit cut into it which is where the tree docks and is connected to the PCB below via wires.

Routed the PCB

After about 2 hours of work, I completely routed the PCB(s), yes there are 2 and made it in the shape of a christmas tree! The Circular PCB is the base with the switch, 555 timer and Battery while all the LEDS are on the other christmas tree shaped PCB, There are test point pads which I will use to link connect the 2 PCB's together

Finished the Schematics

So, after about 15 minutes of designing the lamp, I have decided to use a very simple circuit only composed of a few LEDs and a battery and 555 timer IC, a few capacitors and resistors. Cleverly hidden in the base is the 9V battery, Another design feature is that the Christmas tree will be represented through the shape of the exposed PCB and the green silkscreen layer.

Below is a picture of my schematics for this project which I have just completed!
