Minimal Circuit!

The beginning of the design for the module itself

I don't have much experience with designing SOM boards, so while I learn I will be following the lite carrier board for the mu pretty closely for the schematic, This isn't a direct copy, as I don't need an exposed PCIE x4 slot, or a few other things, but until I know how to properly route PCIE and UART signals I'll be copying those schematics pretty closely

Design ideas

(The inspiration behind this idea)

So the idea behind this is that I can go ahead and run the entire system in one box, with minimal cables, thus I'll be using a lattepanda mu, as their power draw is tiny with the intel N100 (It would only be about 15W with peripherals and a M.2 slot. It would also be relatively cheap for it's performance, with 4 cores and 8GB of ram (more than enough for a lightweight linux distro, I might go up to the intel N305 design if I have the budget though, as it's only 100$ more. for double the cores and ram, but at a higher TDP)

Overall I think this'll be fun and relatively simple, I'll update you guys once I finish the schematic! I spent about 2 hours researching the minimal circuits and cost for the Lattepanda mu, as well as the difference between the various compute modules I could use.
