placed most of pcb

image
Placed switches with different units like 3.25u for spacebar. Placed the NRF and the oled along with switch and battery plug. All that's left now is the LED strip with capacitors.

assigned footprints and ran the checker

Today I was able to assign all the footprints but decided to throw out the encoder :sad
pretty smooth and easy process. I am glad that I can finally start doing the pcb soon.

First schematic draft

This should be roughly what the schematic will be but I might add some more features along the way.
28 switches, all backlit with ws2812b led strip. I also added an OLED display. I'll be using the NRF52840 board because it has enough pins and fits all my needs.

Planning

I saw this tiktok and instantly wanted to make my own half keyboard for peak valorant gameplay

image

Im gonna use roughly the same key layout, but I will ditch the knobs, add a 0.91" screen, and hopefully some nice rgb.
