Procrastination
Yeaa I procrastinated on this keyboard, because routing was not my game. After 4 days I am done with the routing. I will add a note to the reviewer, please take a look at the routing and suggest changes if required.

PCB - Update
I ended up switching to the SuperMini nRF52840, which honestly fits this keyboard project way better and works nicely as a replacement for the nice!nano.
I’ve made some decent progress on the PCB. Most of the components are now placed, but routing has been… painful. I’ve had to move things around a lot to get more efficient trace paths. This stuff gets really complex fast, and I’m still not great at routing yet — but I’m learning as I go and slowly figuring things out.
At the same time, I’m juggling studies since I’m preparing for JEE, so progress on my projects is definitely going to be slower for a while. Still, I’m determined to finish all of them before 31st March.

Schematics done
I’m using a TP4056 charger module as the core component for power delivery and battery protection. So far, the schematics are looking solid, so I’m moving on to the PCB layout phase. If I run into any snags or realize I need to adjust the circuit while routing the board, I’ll go back and update the schematics accordingly. It’s all about making sure everything is airtight before I commit to the physical board this time.

So far so good
I am trying my best to make the most beautiful keyboard. Designing this keyboard has been full of trial and error so far. I worked on the schematics, made the switch matrix and the rgbs daisy chain.
I had to pivot and add a GPIO extender because I ran out of pins, but its looking solid. Schematics will be done in an hour.
