Rotor Rig is a compact test bench for objective measurement and apples-to-apples comparison of BLDC motors. It captures thrust, RPM (BDShot), voltage, current, and input power, then computes key efficiency metrics. Tests can be automated with repeatable throttle steps, and results are logged to CSV for quick analysis. Built to support my upcoming projects—especially custom stators and hand-wound motors—it helps validate how winding schemes and geometry affect real-world performance. In short: repeatable measurements, fast comparisons, better design decisions.
