Imposter Game HandHeld Device
I wanna make a handheld device with a 0.96 OLED Display, 4 buttons and a rotary encoder. I'm making this cuz, at school we were tryna play imposter but its blocked on Chromebooks, and my friend has a rlly big MacBook which is too heavy to pass around.

I finished putting the PCB in the case for the submition
As i said in the title: I finished putting the PCB in the case for the submition
It your wondering why I'm using a pico 2w, its cuz I wanna make the imposter game even better! How? By having it wirelessly connect to Chatgpt in real time and so when the imposter is given a word related to the secret word, they get a custom one each time, so It doesn't get repetitive. Imma make the code for tht rq. \
Final cad

Code complete! Time to ship

Starting CAD
I began making the case for the thingo and realized, how should I do the battery. And I am gonna go with LiPo batteries rather than double A or triple A since I have a charging feature in my device and I'd rather use it with a full on battery than sum triple A's. Imma need to make a battery compartment now!.
Alibaba has this battery for soooo cheap.
Imma use this one to save hackclub sum money ;D
Im also gonna use heatset inserts to make it all connect.
It's 10:52 and I'm finnally done.

Routed PCB
I just finished the pcb, took a lil bit. not too much. Had to ensure the parts are in close prox for signals and stuff. :D But im finnally done!!!!!! Time to make the CAD and we all set!

Finished Schematic
I finally finished the schematic. Needed to make my ownboost module but thts fine! Time to finnaly make the pcb! I also wired up the LEDS and everything. .png)

Battery Module
I added a battery and and batter module as well as a boost. This took a lil bit cuz I hadda research what a boost is and stuff. and some boost options were like 90$ so I had to find a cheaper alternative. I also wired more stuff..png)

Begin Schematic
Now that I have made a working prototype, lets make the schematic on EasyEda! Ok I made a bunch of progress to the schematic. This took a little too long due to me researching while making it but here it is!
Some parts are still missing and a bunch aren't wired but its sleep time now so I thought to end this journal here.

Finally Done Prototyping + FirmWare
FINALLY EVERYTHING WORKS ON BREADBOARD. I'm not kidding this has taken me a whole 13hrs total JST for this. I've timed it to make sure I wouldn't inflate my time. Just today I did 3 more hours cuz it worked then stopped working(The OLED). I didn't have the right resistors either SOOO I hadda make a chain of 5 by twisting their ends together but prototyping complete!. Firmware was also put into it so now I just gotta make PCB and 3d model of CAD.
Sent this pic to my friends when the OLED first started to work.
This is where everything else started working. I still gotta decide on what the buttons do. We will see. 2 buttons and the encoder are being used rn. Also, imma have to order a new oled cuz I need a bigger one.

Prototyping and Testing
I've made a few projects now, and have realised it is harder to make a WORKING project than I first thought. Now i wanna make smth useful for school, so chatgpt even told me to pull out.a breaboard and prototype and test my project before making the pcb. Last evening and today evening, were spent solely on prototyping with a breadboard. The OLED display started working at sum point but now its back to the drawing board. The pull up resistors are just not resistoring.
Heres a picture of what i had made before:

Now i disassembled it all and am gonna run it back to see what the exact problem is!
